For over 60 years, we’ve brought exceptional medical care to Dade and Broward counties. With 357 beds, 400-plus medical staff, and more than 700 employees, North Shore excels with its high-risk maternity care, cancer center, advanced technology, and other top-rated services.

Heart
North Shore Medical Center received the American Heart/American Stroke Association’s Heart Association Get With the Guidelines ®- Heart Failure Quality Achievement Award in 2019 for implementing specific quality improvement measures outlined by the American Heart Association/American College of Cardiology Foundation’s secondary prevention guidelines for patients with heart failure.
Stroke
North Shore Medical Center has received the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s 2020 Get with the Guidelines® Target: Stroke Honor Roll-Elite Plus Gold Plus Advanced Therapy Quality Achievement Award. The award recognizes the hospital’s commitment to ensuring stroke patients receive the most up-to-date evidence-based treatment guidelines to improve patient care and outcomes in the community they serve. North Shore earned the award by meeting specific quality achievement measures for the diagnosis and treatment of stroke patients.
